As Valentine’s
Day
is just few hours away, couples are getting ready to celebrate the special
day with their better halves in the most memorable way possible. However, this
day could be equally tough for people who have recently gone through breakup or
experienced it anytime in their life as it can sometimes affect one’s physical
and mental health as well. Even our celebrities aren’t untouched by this
feeling. Bollywood actor Ananya Pandey ,who in her recent interview to ANI gave
few tips on how move on could come in handy, shared her breakup
anthem and go-to rituals to move on.

Starting with the first tip, the 22-year-old
mentioned how important was to “Love yourself” as self-love can be the best
rebound after a breakup. She said that breakup can be a great opportunity to
fall even more in love with yourself and also suggested to treat yourself like,
take a spa session, a solo trip, dance to Beyonce and Taylor Swift songs or
spend time with friends.

Pandey told that “she always dance it out after
a break-up”. She added that her evergreen breakup motto is “This
too shall pass and Yeh toh trailer tha, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost”, reported ANI.

Her second tip was to “Move on”, however, she
also told that she is the “biggest spy on the planet” when it comes to stalking
an ex and we will admit that we all have stalked our exes at least once in our
life. And why not, it’s quite a common feeling post breakup which we all go
through. Eagerness of knowing whom our ex is with these days, what are they
doing these days, their day-to-day life and what not.

The ‘Student of the Year’ actor said “I am
the biggest jasoos (spy) on planet Earth. I start with one profile, then go to
their aunt’s, find out their mother’s height, their rashi (zodiac sign), anything
you’d want to know”, reported ANI. But we all should take some time to accept the
fact that it’s all over and move on as quickly as we can because that is how we
can save ourselves from falling into a pit of depression.

The last tip which Pandey gave was “New year,
new bae” which she explained as that do not let Valentine’s Day be a hard
reminder of your singleness as you will fall for new people, the spark inside
you hasn’t disappeared with few breakups and this is not at all the end of the
world.

She mentioned that “You will kiss many
many frogs before you find your prince or princess charming” and we
can’t really deny this fact.

also revealed that she channels the cinema-lover in her every time she’s going
through a break-up and she is quite a filmy person when it comes to breakup as
she cries, listen to music, eat chocolate and think about her tanhai”.

The ‘Pati Patni aur Woh’ actor lastly told that
dramatising a heartbreak can actually help in lightening the mood and also
confessed that her break up mood ranges between ‘Channa Mereya’ by Arijit Singh
and ‘Don’t You Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me’ and of course Arianna
Grande’s ultimate moving on anthem ‘Thank you, Next’.
