Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has writted to all the Chief Ministers to provide oxygen to the national capital, “if they have spare.” Taking to Twitter, the Delhi CM said that although the Centre was helping, the severity of the coronavirus crisis is such “that all available resources are proving inadequate.”

Amid an unprecedented spike in COVID-19 cases, Delhi is reeling under a shortage of medical oxygen. Several hospitals have been reporting for the past several days about the amount of the gas left with them.
The Delhi government had previously blamed Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for stopping oxygen supply
On Friday night, 20 COVID-19 patients died at Delhi’s Jaipur Golden Hospital due to shortage of oxygen.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the CMs over the COVID and oxygen crisis.

The centre has also waived off customs duty and health cess on oxygen and its related equipment.
