Disha Ravi, a 21-year-old climate activist who was taken into custody by the Delhi Police on February 13 and was remanded to 5-day police custody in connection with the Greta Thunberg toolkit case, has been allowed to access warm clothes and books by a Delhi Court. She has also been allowed to speak to her family members and lawyer for 15 and 30 minutes respectively every day. Apart from these, the activist was also granted permission to access the documents related to her arrest, including the FIR, ANI reported.

The controversy over the toolkit began after Thunberg, a Swedish climate activist, shared the toolkit on her Twitter handle which caught the eye of the Delhi Police, who quickly launched an enquiry into the same.

Following an investigation, the Delhi police arrested Ravi from her Bengaluru home on Saturday. Disha Ravi, who has been accused of editing the toolkit, was charged with sedition, planning a criminal conspiracy, and promotion of antipathy amongst groups.

On Monday, Delhi Police issued non-bailable warrants against two activists, Nikita Jacob and Shantanu.

Delhi Police said that the trio attended a Zoom meeting organised by a ‘pro-khalistani’ group.

Disha Ravi is one of the founders of the “Friday for Future” (FFF) campaign in India. The campaign was initiated by Greta Thunberg as a global climate strike movement three years ago.
