Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday reached Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s residence in New Delhi.
On Tuesday, Captain Amarinder Singh posted a tweet after the resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu as Punjab Congress President and called him “not a stable man”.
According to ANI, Amarinder Singh was likely to meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital.

However, Singh’s media advisor Raveen Thukral said that too much being read into former chief minister’s visit to Delhi.
“He’s on a personal visit, during which he’ll meet some friends and also vacate Kapurthala house for the new CM. No need for any unnecessary speculation,” Thukral said.
On September 18, the former Punjab Chief Minister extended his resignation, declaring that he feels “humiliated” and said he won’t accept state Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu as the next CM or the party face in the Assembly polls.

Sidhu was made the state Congress chief earlier this year despite opposition by Amarinder Singh.
