Actor Ishaan Khatter took to Instagram on Thursday to wish his elder brother Shahid Kapoor on his 40th birthday. In his post, the young actor shared a before-and-after photo of the two and wrote that he will always love him through every turn of his life.
In the picture shared by Ishaan, the actors can be seen from two different era. In one photo, Shahid is seen holding baby Ishaan. The other photo is from their last appearance in Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Ishaan chose lines from a beautiful retro song in the caption,”Zindagiiiiii kaisi hai paheli haaye. Kabhi toh hasaaye, kabhi yeh rulaaye. But through it all.. I’ll always love you, bade bhai. Happy birthday.”

The birthday post has garnered more than 180,000 likes. A lot of users expressed their feelings with red heart emojis in the comments.

On the work front, Shahid is set to star in ‘Jersey,’ a Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu hit of the same name. The plot is about a promising but unsuccessful cricketer named Arjun, who tries to come back in his late thirties and plays for India to fulfil his son’s wishes. Ishaan is shooting for his upcoming film ‘Phone Booth’ and will star with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi in leading roles.
