Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is known for sharing his frank opinion on social media. However, this time it was his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap who asked him multiple things related to premarital sex, weed, and sleepovers with her boyfriend in a new Father’s Day special video.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Aaliyah asked Anurag Kashyap ‘awkward questions’ sent in by fans.

One of her questions was if weed is acceptable. To this, he replied, “Well, at least doctors say so but it has to do with many things. Everything has consequences and no habit is good or bad. Doctors have told me that tobacco is the worst thing…. Try your own thing, make your own choices and make your own mistakes.”

In the past, Kashyap stated that he doesn’t consider weed as a drug. “It doesn’t turn a person into a monster nor does it have harmful long-lasting effects,” he told Faye D’Souza.

Aaliyah also asked Anurag how he would react if she told him that she was pregnant. “I will ask you, ‘Are you sure you want this?’ And whatever you choose to do, I will always go with it, you know that,” he said. On being prodded further, he added, “I will accept it. Whatever choices you make, I will accept it. I would absolutely tell you that there is a price to pay for it but at the end of it, I will still be there.”
