A video going viral on the internet shows a peacock following men carrying away its dead partner. The peacock can be seen following two men who are holding the corpse of a peahen. The bird was with its partner for four years and refused to leave its side after death. The clip was uploaded by Indian Forest Service officer Parween Kaswan.
The 19-second recording has garnered over 100k views. “Animals have more affection for each other than humans,” one viewer commented. “This is what nature is all about… the way all living beings mourn their departing partners,” another wrote.

Kaswan often posts wildlife videos on social media. He recently shared a video of a leopard jumping over a gate of a house to attack a dog. The leopard managed to catch the dog and escape into the wild.
Proving that even animals have emotions there are multiple cases just like the feeling of revenge. Recently in Maharashtra, a troop of monkeys bludgeoned more than 200 pups to death by throwing them the roof of houses. This was because one of the pups had killed a monkey’s baby.

Not only monkeys and peacocks, but a tiger also showed grief after the death of her own cubs as they were premature. Having been herself nurtured by a pig in the past became a mother for other piglets.
These are mere proofs that animals do have feelings like us, so it is our moral responsibility to look afterthat fact and take care of it.
