YouTube music sensation Yashraj Mukhate on Saturday released a musical tribute for Mother’s Day. Taking to his Instagram handle, the composer posted an acapella version of the popular KGF song ‘Garbhadi’, tagging the video as a “Mother’s Day special”. 

In an IG reel, Mukhate confessed to his love for a part of the song. “I can sing this all day,” he wrote in the caption, while a message on the clip reads, “Just love this part too much”.

The 1:04-minute-long video has been viewed over 220,000 times, and received nearly 1,000 comments. While most fans praised it for its soulful melody, some appreciated it for being in ‘Kannada’, the original language of the movie. 

The video also features  Harinakshi Kalal, another YouTuber-musician.

The original version of the song featured in the 2018 movie KGF, music for which was composed by Ravi Basrur, was sung by Anaya Bhat. 

Last month, Mukhate interviewed Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman and talked about the latter’s career and upcoming film ’99 Songs’.

“I finally met God,” Mukhate captioned a picture with Rahman he shared on Instagram.
