Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is currently shooting for Jim Strouse’s romantic drama – Text for You – on Wednesday revealed the three film projects she enjoyed being a part of. The Quantico actor said that she holds a special place for ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Barfi’, and ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ as those films gave her the most well-rounded characters to play onscreen.

Chopra Jonas last featured in a Bollywood film in 2019, when she played the character of Aditi Chaudhary in Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink. She will be next seen in a Netflix film ‘The White Tiger’ alongside Adarsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao. However, when one talks about the 38-year-old’s acting career– which took a Hollywood turn with the television series Quantico– one notices the diversity of characters she has worn over the last 17 years.

The former Miss World made her Hindi film debut in the 2003 action-drama ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta and since then critically acclaimed hits like ‘Aitraaz’ and ‘Bluffmaster’ added to her resume.

However, talking about the three projects and roles she cherished the most, Priyanka on her Instagram Stories Tuesday night, shared a video montage devoted wife Kashibai to Maratha warrior Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015), Jhilmil, a girl with autism, in 2012’s ‘Barfi!’, directed by Anurag Basu, and Sussanna, a woman on a seemingly unending quest for love, in 2011’s ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

The actor, who completed 20 years in the entertainment industry this year, also heaped praises on the directors, describing them as “an institution in themselves”.

“Three such amazing, complex characters I’ve played at different points in time, with depth, conflict and resilience & working with three phenomenal directors…” she wrote in the caption.

Priyanka Chopra was also an active part of the ‘Don’ franchise and has acted in films like ‘Fashion’, ‘Krrish’, and ‘Mary Kom’- the biopic on the boxing champion for which the actor was honoured with a best actress National Award. Her first major step in Hollywood was playing Alexandra Parrish aka Alex Parrish – a FBI agent– in ABC’s Quantico since 2015. ‘Baywatch’ marked her debut in Hollywood feature films.

Along with ‘The White Tiger’ that will hit the screens in January, 2021, Priyanka will also star in ‘The Matrix 4′ and Keanu Reeves’ Amazon thriller series ‘Citadel’.
