The
mysterious “monolith” is back in global trends after it was again found
in southeastern Turkey on Friday. A farmer found the 3-metre-tall structure at the UNESCO World
Heritage site named Gobekli Tepe in Sanliurfa province on February 5, as per Associated Press. The metal
block has megalithic structures dating to the 10th millennium BC,
around thousands of years before Stonehenge.

According
to the report, an old Turkic script which reads “Look
at the sky, see the moon” was inscribed on the monolith.

The shiny metal appeared for the
first time in a desert in America’s Utah last year on November 10, but soon
disappeared. Since then it has popped up in several countries including UK,
Texas, California, Columbia and India as well. In India, the monolith was found
in a park in Ahmedabad while in San Francisco, a gingerbread monolith was found
around Christmas.
