Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s song ‘Oo Antava’ from the Telugu blockbuster movie ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ has become a rage on social media. 

The song, sung by Indravathi Chauhan, has over a hundred million views on Youtube. Social media users are making reels, uploading dance videos and posting covers of the groovy composition. 

One of these posts has grabbed the attention of Samantha herself. The 34-year-old shared a video posted by comedian Abhishek Kumar on Instagram, which had the caption, “Help Needed: Removal Of Oo Antaava from head. With work wife Nirmal Pillai.” The text on the video read, “When reel songs you hate get stuck in your head.”

Resharing the video, Samantha wrote, “ROFL,” meaning ‘rolling on the floor laughing’.

Pushpa, a 2021 film by Sukumar, has garnered universal acclaim from critics and audiences. The action drama revolves around the violence between police officials and a gang of smugglers in the forests of southern India.

Last year, Samantha became the talk of the town after her split with former partner and actor Naga Chaitanya. As the divorce was announced, many rumours of abortions and affairs began spiralling, but these were denied by Samantha.

After garnering acclaim for her powerful performances in shows like ‘The Family Man 2’, the actor has recently been in the spotlight, bagging dance numbers and international film projects. She has been a part of various films like Oh! Baby, Theri, 24, Ye Maaya Chesave, and more.
