Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan said on Wednesday that he was happy with the love the people of Bihar gave to his party, ANI reported. “Around 25 lakh voters trusted ‘Bihar First, Bihari First’ and we secured 6% votes while contesting alone,” the LFP chief said.

The LJP which broke ranks with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the state Assembly polls, managed to secure just one seat.

“We were called ‘pichhlaggu party’ that can do something only with other’s support,” Paswan said, adding that the party showed “courage.”
