The trailer of Shehnaaz Gill and Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Honsla Rakh’ is being loved by all. The trailer, which was released on Monday, has received over 13 million views on YouTube in mere two days. Alongside Gill and Dosanjh, the Punjabi romantic-comedy also features Sonam Bajwa in the lead role. 

The trailer shows Diljit and Shehnaaz playing husband and wife. Shehnaaz gets pregnant, however, unhappy with the pregnancy, she files for divorce and give’s the custody of the baby to Diljit. 

As Diljit takes care of the child as a single parents, another girl, played by Sonam Bajwa, comes into his life. He falls in love with her. However, when he is about to get the girl, Shehnaaz makes an entry into his life once again.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the movie, which was shot in Canada, has been slated for a worldwide release on Dussehra, October 15.

Following the release of the trailer, several social media users applauded Shehnaaz‘s acting skills and Dosanjh’s comic timing.

“Shehnaz always surprises fan with her Superb Acting Skills,” one person commented.

“Sana is looking fab. She can’t leave this industry so soon after all she’s so talented and can reach somewhere else!” wrote another user. 

“Pls make arrangement of advance booking bcoz we want to see our no. 1 heroine’s shehnaaz 1st day 1st show.. Sana always rocks,” another user commented.

Shehnaaz has been away from the spotlight since the death of rumoured boyfriend, actor Sidharth Shukla, who died of heart attack earlier this month.

Last week, ‘Honsla Rakh’ producer Diljit Thind told a leading daily that they were waiting for her to recover to shoot a song for the film.

“We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the grave loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days,” he said.
