During the investigation, it was revealed that Aftab allegedly brought another woman to the rented apartment in Mehrauli, South Delhi, on a date while Shraddha’s body parts were still in the fridge, according to Indian Express.
As per the report, Aftab installed the dating App Bumble shortly after the murder. He used the app to get in touch with other women. He connected with a woman, who was a psychologist by profession. He had also reportedly met Shraddha for the first time in 2019 using the dating app Bumble.
According to the report, Aftab brought the other woman a couple of times in June and July.
Both Shraddha and Aftab had been in a relationship for four years before she met a tragic end. When her family did not approve of their relationship, Shraddha moved to Delhi.

Speaking to ANI after his daughter’s death, Shraddha’s father, Vikas Walker said, “I suspected a love jihad angle. We demand the death penalty for Aftab. I trust Delhi Police and the probe moving in the right direction. Shraddha was close to her uncle and didn’t talk to me much. I was never in touch with Aftab. I lodged the first complaint in Mumbai’s Vasai.”
