Sonali Phogat,
TikTok star and BJP leader, died in Goa on August 22. Her family has claimed
Phogat was murdered and has sought a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)
probe
into the case. Phogat’s family had approached Haryana Chief Minister
Manohar Lal Khattar and he in turn has had a word with Goa CM Pramod Sawant,

“Haryana CM
Khattar spoke with me and requested a thorough investigation into the case. He
wants CBI to take over the case after family members met in person and requested
the same,” Pramod Sawant told ANI on Sunday. He added that Goa will transfer
the case to CBI if needed.

“I don’t
have an issue with it. After all formalities today, if required, I will give
this case to CBI,” Sawant said.
