South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada
on Thursday took his 200th Test wicket against Pakistan in Karachi,
AFP reported.

Having dismissed Pakistani batsman
Hasan Ali for 21 in the first Test, Rabada, in his 44th Test match, successfully
got his name among those who have achieved the feat so far.

Pakistan’s innings stood at the time
at 323 for the loss of nine wickets, leading South Africa’s first innings score
by 103 runs.

Having debuted against India in
Mohali back in 2015, Rabada is the eighth South African bowler so far to take
200 or more wickets in the Test format.

Protea pacer Dale Steyn tops the list
with 439 wickets, followed by Shaun Pollock (421), Makhaya Ntini (390), Alan
Donald (330), Morne Morkel (309), Jacques Kallis (291) and Vernon Philander,
who has taken 224 wickets and was the most recent addition before Rabada’s inclusion
into the group.

Rabada has so far played 44 Test
matches, 75 One Day International (ODI) matches, and 26 T-20 International
(T20I) matches, alongside 35 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.

The speedstar from Johannesburg,
South Africa has achieved nine five-wicket hauls so far in Test matches, and
once in One Day International matches, with averages of 22.95 and 27.34.
