The statement comes in the
backdrop of National Green Tribunal’s order to impose a total ban against
the sale or use of all kinds of firecrackers in the National Captial Region

Apart from Delhi, the NGT
order also bans use of crackers in towns and cities falling under ‘moderate’ or
lower category. Only green crackers are allowed for a restricted duration of two
hours on the occasion of Diwali, Chatt and New Years.
