The 2021-22 Union Budget will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha on February 1. The Finance Budget this year holds tremendous significance as it comes amid India’s ongoing battle with the COVID-19 pandemic. 

However, this will not be the first time when a budget presentation will hold significance in the nation. From the budget that was presented after GST was imposed to the budget that was presented in 1991 after India’s liberalisation played a key role in shaping the nation’s economy.
