Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday
said that the upcoming Union Budget would be treated as a part of several
mini-budgets Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented throughout 2020,
PTI reported.

Modi, during his statement to the
media prior to commencement of Budget session, emphasised the upcoming decade
as an important one for India’s future, pointing out the session on Friday

2020 in the form of different packages,” PTI quoted PM Modi as saying.

The Prime Minister further
highlighted a requirement for differing views and discussions to come up during
budget session, asserting his confidence in MPs, saying they would make full
and effective use of the Parliament to fulfil aspirations of the citizens.

Union Budget 2021 would be presented
by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1. This would be marking her
third budget under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.
