India is witnessing a huge rise in COVID-19 cases and the increase is mainly because people are not following COVID guidelines such as wearing mask, using sanitiser and maintaining social distance.

Former cricketer Virender Sehwag took it to Twitter on Tuesday and asked people to follow rules and guidelines in a hilarious way. In his tweet, he wrote the names of eight immortals of Hindu dharma and said that you are not one of them and further urged to wear mask, maintain social distancing and get vaccinated if eligible.

The 42-year-old former cricketer has time and again shared social media posts with witty remarks and this time he made sure to tell everyone that they are not immortal and following COVID guidelines was the only way to save the world from the deadly virus. 

Sehwag’s tweet has garnered thousands of retweets and likes. A user commented on his post saying, “Nice way of spreading awareness.” Another wrote, “Straight drive!” Third wrote, “Haha Good, #WearAMask.”

For the first time, India recorded the daily COVID cases in six digits crossing 1-lakh mark on Monday. Several states have imposed strict measures, including lockdown and night curfew and it becomes more important than ever to wear mask and follow the rules imposed by the government.
