Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday, visited Rajasthan to take part in a farmers’ rally, where he was seen driving a tractor in Ajmer’s Rupangarh, reported ANI. Before attending the rally, Gandhi visited the Veer Tejaji Maharaj Temple in Ajmer and was joined by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress leaders Sachin Pilot and Ajay Maken.
During the rally, Gandhi said, ” Farm laws implementation will cause unemployment. PM says he’s giving options. Yes, he has given hunger, unemployment and suicide.”
He added, “He wants to talk to farmers but they won’t until laws are repealed. Agriculture belongs to ‘Bharat Mata’, not industrialist.”
The words are similar to what the Congress leader said in the parliament two days back, when he attacked the PM Modi government regarding the farm laws.
Alleging that the government is run by four people, Gandhi said, “There was a slogan for family planning ‘Hum do hamare do’. Like Corona comes back in a different form, this slogan has come back in a different form. Nation is run by 4 people – ‘Hum do hamare do’. Everyone knows their names. Whose govt is it, of ‘hum do, hamare do.”
