Bipasha Basu, Indian actress and model,
and wife of TV star Karan Singh Grover gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday,
November 12.

In August this year, the couple officially
announced that they were expecting their first child. The caption of their social media post
read, “A new time, a new phase, a new light adds another unique shade to our
prism of life. Making us a little more whole than we used to be.”

Throughout her pregnancy, Bipasha kept
fans updated about her journey with adorable photos and videos of her baby
bump.  On November 4, she also uploaded
pictures of a maternity photo shoot.

Who is Karan Singh Grover?

Karan Singh Grover
was born on February 23, 1982, in New Delhi, India in a Punjabi Sikh family. He
has a younger brother, Ishmeet Singh Grover.

At a young age, he
moved to Saudi Arabia with his family. He did his schooling in Dammam, Saudi Arabia,
and later studied Hotel Management at IHM Mumbai.

In 2004, Grover won
the award for the Most Popular Model after participating in Gladrags Manhunt
Contest. The same year, he started his television career after he was cast as
Arnav in MTV’s television series Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi.

In 2007, Grover
bagged the lead role in Star One’s medical drama Dill Mill Gayye, which became
a popular show and established Grover as a ‘teenage icon’ for the Indian youth.

Qubool Hai, an
Indian soap opera credited for pioneering Muslim-oriented programs in Indian
television, starred Karan Singh Grover as Asad Ahmed Khan, one of the leads. It
became one of the most popular shows on Indian television and established Grover as one
of the highest-paid Indian television actors. After he exited the show in 2013,
its ratings dropped heavily.

Although he had
previously worked in films, his 2015 film Hate Story 3 became his first
box-office success. He also starred in the Indian horror film Alone, alongside
Bipasha Basu, during which they started dating.

Karan Singh Grover
married television actress Shraddha Nigam in 2008, however, they divorced only
after 10 months. In 2012, he married actress Jennifer Winget, but they
separated two years later. Grover started dating Bipasha Basu in 2015, and the
couple got married the next year. In November 2022, Basu gave birth to their
first child, a baby girl.
