The 36-year-old Australian
television presentator, sports journalist and sports commentator Neroli Meadows
was born and raised in Collie. She rose to fame while working for the Fox
Sports network where she covered Australian football, cricket and basketball.

She made an entry into sports
journalism by working as producer at Perth radio station. She had to leave her
previous job at Fox Sport due to the company’s cost-cutting policies.

Presently she is featuring in the 2020
edition of the famed Indian Premier League. She has had experience covering the
Big Bash league and 2018 Magellan Ashes.

Meadows is not the only Australian
who is a part of the BYJU’s Cricket live program, former cricketer Brett Lee is
also a part of the team.

After covering the first half of
IPL 2021, she posted a heartfelt post on her Instagram handle. The caption of
the post read, “Thank you India for having me. My
heart breaks for everything you are going through. I have fallen in love with
your kindness and generosity of spirit. I hope things improve quickly for all
of you. The fact my
colleagues were asking me each day how I was going and how my family was
coping, when all the while each and every one of you were going through your
own personal heartache – that is just beyond considerate. You are amazing
humans.”

Not much is known about her private
life other than the fact that she has two brothers. One of them being Ian Meadows,
a famous actor and writer.

She wished to pursue basketball as
a career but sadly, that dream never took flight because of her height.
However, she did not give up on paving a way for herself in the sports industry.
A tough place to get a job for a woman.
