Gaffar%20Khan%20followed%20the%20philosophy%20of%20Mahatma%20Gandhi%u2019s%20non-violence%20because%20it%20resonated%20with%20Islam.%20He%20opposed%20the%20idea%20of%20homogenising%20political%20Islam%20presented%20by%20Mohammad%20Ali%20Jinnah%u2019s%20Muslim%20League%2C%20that%20is%20why%20he%20supported%20the%20Congress%20and%20battled%20against%20the%20Muslim%20League%20and%20Communalism.
He%20is%20also%20known%20as%20the%20founder%20of%20the%20Red%20Shirt%20Movement%20%28Khudai%20Khitmatgar%29%20among%20the%20Pashtun%2C%20which%20espoused%20non-violent%20nationalist%20agitation%20in%20support%20of%20Indian%20Independence.
