Rivaba Jadeja, wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, has been given a ticket to run in the upcoming elections by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). The Gujarat’s ruling party has released the first list of candidates who will run in the state’s assembly elections in 2022.

Rivaba Jadeja has been nominated from the Gujarat assembly’s Jamnagar North seat, according to the official list of candidates. She joined the ruling BJP in 2019. Notably, cricketer Ravindra Jadeja declared his support for PM Narendra Modi the same year.

As many as 100 names were included in the first list of BJP candidates for the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections in 2022, which was released today by Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav. From the Ghatlodiya district, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will run for office.

Who is Rivaba Jadeja?

Rivaba Jadeja is wife of Indian cricketing star Ravindra Jadeja. The couple got married in 2016 and has been together since. Before getting married, Rivaba Jadeja was also known as Riva Solanki. She was born to Prafullaba and Hardev Singh Solanki.

Rivaba Jadeja, who is 32 years old and was born on September 5, 1990. Rivaba joined the Bhartiya Janta Party in 2019, and this year will be her first election season. She is related to Congress veteran Hari Singh Solanki. Rivaba Jadeja holds a degree in mechanical engineering, and she has also served as the leader of the Rajput community organization Karni Sena.

Rivaba and Ravindra are well-known for their charitable contributions. On the occasion of their daughter’s 5th birthday, they made headlines by opening Sukanya Samriddhi bank accounts for 101 baby girls. PM Modi applauded their efforts to raise awareness and assist the girl children in becoming financially independent. He had praised Rivaba and her husband in a letter for their charitable work.
