A Mega Millions ticket worth $1,000,000 was purchased at Sheetz on Martinsburg Pike in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
The ticket matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball. Friday’s Mega Millions numbers were 4, 18, 31, 53, 69, and the Mega Ball was 7.
The West Virginia Lottery said that the ticket holder must call 304-558-0500. As of Tuesday morning, the ticket had not been claimed.

For Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, three third-tier prizewinning tickets sold in New Jersey, according to state Lottery officials.
The players matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize. One of the tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $20,000.
The next estimated Jackpot amount is $87 million, with a cash option of $42.8 million. The next drawing is Tuesday, November 1, at 11 pm EST.
How to play and check Mega Millions:
Each ticket for Mega Millions cost $2, or $3 with the Megaplier option that can increase prize two to five times depending on the Megaplier selected for each draw. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday and Friday nights, the Megaplier is drawn.

Players must “pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers – five different numbers from 1 to 75 and one number from 1 to 15 – or select Easy Pick,” the lottery’s website states, adding that if numbers match all six winning numbers in a drawing —you hit the jackpot.
In case you win the jackpot, you can choose the annuity payment where you are paid one installment immediately, followed by 29 annual payments. According to Mega Millions, each payment value is 5 percent higher than the previous one. The tickets are sold in 44 states as well as Washington, D.C. and the Virgin Islands. Each state determines its cut-off time to purchase tickets.
