As a parent you know it’s better to feed your kids vegetables
instead of ice cream. But, anyone who has ever tried to feed a child (something
other than candies and ice cream) knows how difficult it is to convince a kid
to eat something healthy.

It sometimes gets stressful to understand what to make to
nourish their tiny bodies. Plus, just because it’s served, doesn’t mean the kid
will eat it.

Bollywood actor turned writer Twinkle Khanna has come up with a solution. A while ago, she took ‘What’s in your Dabba
Challenge’ and made ‘beetroot tikkis’, but this time, she gave us a sneak-peek
into her kids’ Dabba.

Khanna posted pictures of healthy treats for kids on her
Instagram and wrote, “I may not always be around to watch what my kids are up
to, so here are some healthy treats that I would put inside their dabbas to
keep an eye on them instead.”

She made ragi and Rava idli. In case, if you want to try this
for your family and kids, here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

Rava

Ragi flour

Salt

Curd

Water

Baking soda

Method:

Dry roast the rava and keep it aside to cool

Add the ragi flour in equal proportions

Add salt, curd, and water

Let it rest for half an hour

Put in a small pinch of baking soda before steaming

Once ready, decorate it with carrot eyes, cherry tomato noses,
and whatever bits you have leftover
