In an interesting Insta-development
on Thursday, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda shared a clip on Instagram in
relation to Kangana Ranaut’s sharp attack on US pop icon Rihanna’s support
towards the farmers’ protest.

The clip features Ranaut in one of
her older films – Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai (2010) – co-starred by Hooda
himself, where the former played the role of a Bollywood actor named Rehana
Shergill.

The banter visibly emerged from similarities
in name of the character Ranaut played and the singer she attacked on social media,
which apparently was not lost on Hooda either, who captioned the video ‘This
conspiracy is a big one’ in Hindi, putting a few laughing emojis alongside.

Replying to a question of whether he
recognises a picture of Ranaut which appears on the screen, the clip displays Hooda,
playing ACP Agnel Wilson in the film, saying “Isse kaun nahi jaanta; Mashoor
film-star Rehana (Who does not know her; she is the famous film-star Rehana)”.

Hooda posted the clip on both
Instagram and Twitter, adding the hashtags #Throwback and #OnceUponATimeInMumbai,
which became popular in a short period of time, raking up more than one lakh
views within half-an-hour of being shared.

While a particular Instagram user
termed the short-video of being ‘savage’, another said it was ‘legendary’.

Ranaut on Tuesday called the farmers
protesting against the farm laws ‘terrorists’ while terming the US pop legend a
‘fool’.
