Marco Jansen, who represents the Mumbai Indians, has been in the news for his height. He is six feet eight inches (2.03 metres) tall, which presumably helps the 21-year-old a lot in creating variations and generating pace in his deliveries.

The fast bowler from Klerksdorp in South Africa’s North West province was picked up by the Mumbai-based franchise for his base price of Rs 20 lakh.

In Mumbai Indian’s first IPL 2021 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Jansen was greeted by Virat Kohli with a boundary in the very first over. The bowler, however, came back strongly later in the match, removing a settled Glenn Maxwell as well as Shahbaz Ahmed.
