Bart Scott, an American sports analyst and former football player, is being slammed on social media for joking about Trevon Diggs’ injury during a TV program. Several X users slammed him after the video of the instance surfaced on social media.

Many X users and NFL fans reacted to the surfaced video and blasted Scott for his insensitive joke about a serious injury. One user wrote, “I’m glad Sas And Ryan choose to speak out, that was disgusting and out of line from Bart Scott, and being a former player you’d think he knows better.”

One user tweeted, “Everytime I see Bart Scott’s name it’s always bc he said some bullshit”

Another user tweeted, “Bart Scott’s CTE having ignorant ass that he was doing something and he would get pumped up with that bullshit up. Glad they stopped that shit cold, but he can still eat a bowl of em!”

Bartholomew Edward Scott, known as Bart Scott, is an American sports analyst and former football player. He had a successful eleven-year linebacker career in the National Football League (NFL). He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2002 after a stellar collegiate football career at Southern Illinois University. Scott was chosen for the 2006 Pro Bowl. He spent seven years with the Ravens before joining the New York Jets in 2009, where he spent the following four seasons finishing his playing career.

Scott then worked as an NFL commentator for CBS Television from 2013 through 2017. He currently co-hosts “Bart and Hahn” on New York City’s ESPN Radio, which airs weekdays from 12 to 2.
