Minnesota Vikings were given a lucky chance to stay in the game in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter of the Week 10 game vs the Buffalo Bills at the Bills Stadium.

At Buffalo’s 1-yard line, QB Josh Allen fumbled the football after which Vikings’ Erik Kendricks recovered the football, which resulted in a TD for the visitors. This gave them a 30-27 lead with just 40 seconds to go.

After being down by three points, the Bills complete five plays for 69 yards in the last minute to lead kicker Tyler Bass to field goal range who then drilled a 29-yard FG to tie the game.

The game was ultimately decided in the OT, where Allen was intercepted for the second time in the game as Patrick Patterson caught his second interception of the game from the Bills’ QB.

It was a very closely contested game that resulted in an overtime victory for the team from Minnesota. The final score was 33-30 as the Vikings improve to an 8-1 record and are second behind the Philadelphia Eagles with the best record in the NFL.

The home team now falls to 6-3 record and has now lost two consecutive games for the first time this season. With the loss, they fall to the third spot in their AFC East division, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are ahead of them.

What led to the TD by Minnesota in the last minute was a result of a stunning catch by Justin Jefferson who almost pulled off an Odell Beckham Jr style catch. This led to the ball being placed at the 4th-and-1 with one yard to go for a score. But Bills’ defense stopped QB Kirk Cousins from scoring, giving away the ball to Buffalo. But in the resulting next snap, Allen surprisingly dropped the snap which led to the TD.
