He also passed for a touchdown when he found Darnell Mooney with a 16-yarder on Sunday.

Fields’ streak is the Bears’ longest since Mitch Trubisky went 10 straight in 2018. His previous longest streak was three games.

The former first-round pick led the Bears into the red zone in five plays on their first drive against the Atlanta Falcons. Fields threw a dart to a wide-open Darnell Mooney on third-and-8 from the 16-yard line. Mooney has scored nine of his ten career touchdowns inside the 20-yard line.

Fields has had a tremendous season thus far, tieing with Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts as the leader of the league in rushing TDs among quarterbacks. This was his seventh of the season.

His team leads the NFL in total rushing yards for the season with 2,017 yards. They are more than six hundred yards clear of second-placed Baltimore Ravens who have 1,513.

In the 10 games played, Fields has carried the ball 104 times for a total of 749 yards which means on average in each carry, he runs for 7.2 yards. His best running game was last week against the Detroit Lions. Although the team lost in a close game by a score of 31-30, Fields had a game to remember of his own. He ended the night with two rushing touchdowns for 147 yards in just 13 carries while also recording two passing TDs, throwing for 167 yards.

He has now tied Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals for the most consecutive games with a passing and rushing touchdown in the Super Bowl era with five.
