CJ Stroud, the quarterback for the Ohio Buckeyes, is one of the best prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft and stands a very good chance of going first overall. Stroud is maintaining his stability in the midst of the commotion all around him.

“Wherever God wants me to be, that’s what’s important,” he said in Las Vegas last week. “I mean, I know that He has a plan in my life, so whether I go 1, 2, 3 in the draft, wherever it’s at, I’m ready for it, and I’m blessed to be here.”

CJ Stroud’s family:

Stroud’s mother’s name is Kimberley, and his father’s name is Coleridge. CJ was born in Rancho Cucamonga as Coleridge Bernard Stroud IV. Among four kids, he was the youngest. Stroud’s father has been imprisoned since he was a middle school student. The QB also has two older brothers and a sister named Ciara in his family.

Coleridge, CJ’s father, was a preacher at the Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles-based Life Application Christian Centre. His mother was regarded as the sacred place’s first lady. Coleridge was the one who first introduced football to his son.

Stroud described how he had to deal with many ups and downs when he was young in an interview with Eleven Warriors a few years ago. He stated: “My life has been like a roller coaster. It’s been up and down. I’ve been through hell and back. I’ve been through so much in my life. I had to grow up early. I had to grow up really fast.”

CJ gives his mother Kimberley a lot of recognition for taking on the job of raising all of her children alone. Nevertheless, Kim and Coleridge are now happy parents of one of the best football players in the nation.
