The Cleveland Browns are facing the Cincinnati Bengals in Monday Night Football in Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season. The game started underwhelmingly with the first touchdown coming in the second quarter when running back Nick Chubb connected with wide receiver Amari Cooper, before making a sprint to score the first touchdown of the game.

The touchdown by the 26-year-old helped the Cleveland Browns to take a 7-0 lead over the visitors. It was also Chubb’s eighth touchdown of the ongoing 2022 NFL season. The running back scored the 3-yard touchdown on a direct snap to provide his side with a much-needed lead.

The 26-year-old has been one of the standout performing running backs in the NFL in the 2022 season and he did not disappoint against the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween. After the first half where both sides contained their opposition by not allowing them to score, Chubb broke the deadlock with his touchdown.

The Cleveland Browns went into the half leading 11-0, following the touchdown by Nick Chubb and a field goal by kicker Cade York.

The Browns running back has registered 9 carries for 40 yards and 1 rushing touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals so far. He has also recorded 126 carries for 740 yards, 8 rushing touchdowns and 9 receptions for 67 yards so far this season.

The 26-year-old running back has also registered 1,034 carries for 5,556 yards, 44 rushing touchdowns, 101 receptions for 818 yards, 3 receiving touchdowns and 6 fumbles in his career so far.

The Cleveland Browns are currently in the third position in the AFC North standings, following the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals in the top two spots. They are also on a four-game losing streak, since winning against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. Meanwhile, the Bengals are on a two-game winning streak and will look to continue it against the Browns in Week 8.
