Day 10 of the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 turned out to be quite a medal rush for Indian athletes. Indians won a total of 15 medals on the penultimate day of the multi-sport event in boxing, table tennis, squash, badminton, hockey, and cricket. Nikhat Zareen, the reigning featherweight boxing champion, showed her mettle once again by winning with a unanimous 5-0 decision. The women’s cricket team had to remain content with silver once again post their loss to Australia. The women’s hockey team managed to beat NZ in an intense shootout in order to clinch bronze.

The final day of this year’s CWG also has exciting matches lined up for Indians, and all of them are either for the gold or bronze medals. Indian athletes/teams who have qualified for gold medal matches have already guaranteed themselves of a medal, but it remains to be seen whether they bring in the ultimate prize.

Here’s a list of all events Indians will be seen in on Day 11:

Badminton: PV Sindhu will be looking to come out on the top in her women’s singles gold medal match, which commences at 1:20 PM.

Lakhsya Sen will also play in the men’s singles gold medal match, which is set to commence from 2:10 PM.

Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty can also bag gold in their final match for the men’s doubles division, which will begin from 3:00 PM.

Hockey: The women’s hockey team, yesterday, bagged bronze. It remains to be seen whether their men’s counterpart will be able to clinch the gold in their final match against Australia. The match begins from 5:00 PM.

Table Tennis: The bronze medal match for the men’s singles division will see India’s G Sathiyan in action from 3:35 PM.

In the gold medal match for the same division, Achanta Sharath Kamal will be in action from 4:25 PM.

Today being the final day of CWG 2022, the closing ceremony of the event is set to start from 12:00 AM.
