Los Angeles Rams Wide receiver Cooper Kupp has suffered a setback in his hamstring injury. The timing of Cooper Kupp’s hamstring injury is unfortunate. Sean McVay, the head coach of the Rams, claimed that Kupp has had a “setback” in his hamstring injury recovery and is currently suffering from a “muscle strain.” Kupp’s situation is taken into account on a daily basis, according to McVay.

On August 1, Kupp first suffered a hamstring injury and had to miss practice. He was given the day-to-day prognosis three days later, but eventually recovered fully and went back to practice.

The kind of damage Kupp has is particularly troubling since, if not treated appropriately, hamstring injuries can develop into chronic issues.

The Los Angeles Rams had a significant amount of injuries in 2022, which contributed to their decline from the defending champions to a less formidable squad. Due to an ankle sprain that occurred late in the year, Cooper Kupp’s 2022 season was cut short early. He was later put on the injured reserve (IR) list. He had recovered totally from the ankle injury, but at the beginning of August, he had a new setback when he strained his hamstring.

In the NFL, Cooper Kupp is starting his seventh season. He played in nine games in 2022, hauling in 75 passes on 98 targets for 812 yards and six touchdowns. His incredible 2021 season, when he smashed records with 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns, is a far cry from this performance. Kupp is without a doubt the Rams’ premier wide receiver, and his probable absence during the regular season would be detrimental to the team in what is already expected to be a difficult season.
