Los Angeles Lakers fans pinned the team’s loss vs Memphis Grizzlies on Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell. LeBron James and co lost 103-93 at the FedEx Forum on Wednesday.

The playoff series between the Grizzlies and the Lakers is now tied at 1-1. The two teams now head to Los Angeles.

Xavier Tillman of the Grizzlies outscored Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell combined in Game 2. The former had 22 points while the latter two had 13 and five respectively. Fans trolled the two Lakers players for their poor show.

“This loss is 1000 % on Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell I don’t wanna hear them say that I want them to play fucking better cuz the way they played tonight was fucking pathetic they better realize and play fucking better Saturday….” a Twitter user said.

“Anthony Davis either plays like he’s prime Hakeem Olajuwon or like he’s Kwame Brown and there’s no in between. And D’Angelo Russell might wanna start learning Chinese soon,” another one added.

“D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis has to be more consistent no other explanation when your star player is getting cooked by the other teams worse player. SMH,” a third one tweeted.

Coming into Wednesday’s game, Davis made NBA history by moving into the top 100 on the NBA’s all-time playoff blocks list. He came into the game with 78 career playoff blocks, which ranked 108th on the list. However, the Lakers No 3 could only finish with 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

The Memphis Grizzlies entered the game without Ja Morant. The NBA All-Star exited the first game of the series after sustaining a hand injury. Tyus Jones started in his place and finished with 10 points, eight assists and six rebounds.
