The Washington Commanders were trolled for their burgundy uniforms for the Sunday Night Football game against the New York Giants in the Week 15 game of the NFL at the FedEx Field.
“Not even going to front.. Them burgundy uniforms Washington wearin going kinda crazy #TakeCommand 😂,” a Twitter user said.
“I am gonna be real with you bro, Washington needs new uniforms cuz these ones are so mid compared to the old [REDACTED] ones #NYGvsWAS,” a second one said.
“Washington’s maroon uniforms make them look like a bunch of russet potatoes, lol. #NYGvsWAS,” a third one tweeted.
The match that started thus on a critical note, remained so for the Commanders as they were reduced to 0-14 in the second quarter as the giants to the score to 14-3 at half time. Kaybon Theabodeaux played with conviction and was critical in the defense and helping the Giants secure a lead.
While the New York Giants would like to recover from a 22-48 smashing they suffered at the hands of of their table-toppers Philadelphia Eagles, the Commanders haven’t player last week due to a bye and would like to start things afresh now.

However, the two sides have performed badly in the NFL season this time and the commanders are placed third while the Jets are below them at fourth in the same division. A victory for the Jets would see them overtake the Commanders in the third position.
The Giants continued the lead as they were leading 17-9 at the end of the third quarter. They will be favourites to win the match although the developments in the NFL over the last few days will indicate that such conclusions may not always be true.
