KL Rahul scored the fastest fifty in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2018 off 14 balls on April 08 2018, at IS Bindra Stadium. The innings ended with 51 runs and had four sixes and six fours. 

The second fastest fifty in IPL was scored by Yusuf Pathan against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens on May 24, 2014. This knock ended with 72 runs and had seven sixes and five fours. This feat was equalled by Sunil Narine against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 07, 2017, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The knock ended with 54 runs and had four sixes and six fours.

Prithvi Shaw from DC scored fifty off 18 balls in IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday, which included six fours off the first over of the DC innings.
