After 32 years, India, in a historic win, defeated Australia to clinch the series 2-1 and retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy. Rishabh Pant led India to a historic 3-wicket win on day 5 of the fourth Test, as the team chased down 328 in the fourth winnings at Brisbane’s Gabba.
Rishabh Pant scored an unbeaten 89 to guide India past the target. Shubman Gill (91) and Cheteshwar Pujara (56) also made significant contributions in India’s second innings.
