Spectators – in or out?

Yes, the Test series will be played in front of capacity crowds in all five venues across the country. This comes as the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, on July 5, announced the lifting of COVID-related curbs.

Which ball will be used?

Dark Dukes ball will be used in the Test series. The SG is used in India and the Kookaburra is used in Australia. The Dukes retains its shape for a longer period with a more pronounced seam. The ball’s extra grip makes it conducive for swing bowling in favourable English conditions.
