The camaraderie between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni never fails to warm the hearts of cricketing fans. Be it off the field or during a match or even playing against each other, the two Indian cricketing greats always show what friendship and sportsmanship mean. In one of their latest engagements, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Kohli was seen hugging Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni from behind after an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match.

The match at Sharjah saw the Chennai-based team beat the Bangalore-based team by 6-wickets in 18.1 overs to go on top of the IPL 2021 points table.

The victory meant that CSK has won each of its last five games played at the United Aram Emirates. For RCB, it was their seventh defeat on the trot in the UAE.

Despite the defeat, Kohli found it in himself to go and share a light moment with his former captain on the sidelines.

For Kohli, they were outplayed by a superior team and said that Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling unit did not show courage with the ball as they not only failed to contain the CSK batters but also did not pick up wickets to put the opposition on the mat.

Dhoni, on the other hand, said that he was happy with his team’s all-around performance. For CSK, Dwayne Bravo put up a fiery bowling display to take his team over the finish line. Bravo, who finished the match with figures of 3/24 in his stipulated four overs, was adjudged the man of the match.
