Khaleel Ahmed and Sarfaraz Khan was brought back into the Delhi Capitals playing 11 for the crucial top four tie against the Punjab Kings. The two sides lock horns at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Monday. 

Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal won the toss and elected to bowl first.

PBKS went with the same team. Agarwal said that the team has finally found the right combinations. The 2014 champions are placed seventh on the IPL 2022 points table with six wins and as many losses. 

“We would like to bowl first. I don’t think the wicket is going to change much and last time we played there was dew. We are playing the same team. We have definitely found the right combinations. It is important to take it is just another game,” Mayank Agarwal said at the toss.

Sarfaraz Khan and Khaleel Ahmed come in the DC’s playing 11 for KS Bharat and Chetan Sakariya. 

“I think we were looking to bowl but toss is not in our control. We have two changes – Khaleel comes back after injury in place of Chetan Sakariya, Sarfaraz comes in for KS Bharat. I think the only thing we were focusing on was how to prepare for the match. Yes, there were so many things going around but as a captain I can make sure, talking to the players, that they won’t be thinking about all this,” Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant said at the toss.
