RCB has won five of the seven games it has played thus far while losing two. In its most recent game, it defeated newcomer Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 18 runs. SRH has won four of its six matches thus far, losing two, and most recently defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by seven wickets.

It will be their first meeting at Brabourne.
