Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens missed a 56-yard field goal against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday. With the 32-year-old’s miss, the game remained scoreless in the first quarter. 

Ravens All-Pro Justin Tucker has been a field goal machine for years. Over the last 10 seasons, his NFL career, he has missed 32 field goals.

Baltimore were forced to punt after their first two drives. Tucker’s kick, however, bounced off the left upright, leaving fans shocked. Coming into the game, the kicker had made 10 straight FGs of 50 yards or more. He was 9-for-9 through the first five weeks.

Tucker was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He has the highest career field goal percentage (minimum 100 attempts) with 91.3. The 32-year-old also scored NFL’s longest field goal at 66 yards. 

In 2014 and 2015, Justin Tucker played 16 games and missed 12 field goals. He missed only one in 2016 and 2019. He started in 17 games last season and completed 35 of his 37 field goal attempts.. His last FG miss was in week 10 of the 2021 season.
