He was once given a Donatello mask wrapped up in a luxury brand box as a prank by former PSG captain Thiago Silva.

Social media has been rife with comments regarding the incident, with many suggesting that Mbappe, who is considered PSG’s talisman, will force Messi out of the team after this video came to light.

Mbappe has no doubt been one of the best players of the recently concluded tournament. He has scored eight goals in the 2022 edition of the World Cup, which brings his total goals scored in the World Cup to 12. The highest scorer in World Cup history is Germany’s Miroslav Klose with 16, which means that the Frenchman can surpass him as the competition’s top scorer in the upcoming editions.
