Here are some other notable Inter Miami players outside of the much-heralded Messi-Busquets-Alba trio:

Robert Taylor: Messi seems to have discovered his new assist man in the winger from Finland. Taylor, who is in his second season with Inter Miami, has accounted for three goals and three assists in Miami’s three Leagues Cup wins.

DeAndre Yedlin: After spending nearly ten years playing in Europe, the veteran of the USMNT who has participated in two World Cups joined Inter Miami in 2022. Up until he gave Messi the privilege, Yedlin wore the captain’s armband.

Josef Martinez: Josef Martinez, who scored 19 goals in Atlanta United’s inaugural season in 2017, was a revelation for the club. Martinez was traded to Miami in January 2023 after another successful season in Atlanta in 2019 was interrupted by injuries and disputes with team management.
