Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday missed a 56-yard field goal against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium. The kicker, one of the most accurate in NFL, looked shocked after the ball bounced off the left upright in the first quarter.
Coming into the Week 6 game, Tucker had not missed a field goal this season. The 32-year-old was 9-for-9. He had made 10 straight FGs of 50 yards or more. However, when the Ravens were forced to punt after two drives, he missed.

Justin Tucker has the highest career field goal percentage in NFL (minimum 100 attempts) at 91.3. Last year, he scored the league’s longest field goal: 66 yards.
What was the last time Justin Tucker missed a field goal?
The last time Justin Tucker missed a field goal was during Week 10 of the 2021 season when the Ravens took on the Miami Dolphins. It was his second miss of the season.

Justin Tucker was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2012. In his rookie season, the 32-year-old made all 42 of his PAT attempts and missed only three out of his 33 field goals. In the next two years, his missed 12 FGs.
He started in 17 games last season and completed 35 of his 37 field goal attempts.
Tucker played for the Texas Longhorns football team. He went undrafted in NFL after completing his college in 2011. He signed a 4 year, $24,000,000 contract with the Baltimore Ravens that included a $5,500,000 signing bonus, $17,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $6,000,000 in August 2022.
