Former cricketer Sarandeep Singh on Sunday revealed that Virat Kohli and his wife and actor Anushka Sharma don’t have servants at their home in Mumbai. Speaking in an interview with Sportskeeda, the former team selector added that Kohli is a good listener and a very down-to-earth person contrary to public opinion.

“At his home, there are no servants. He and his wife will serve food to everyone. What else do you want? Virat always sits with you, chats with you, and goes out for dinner with you. All the other players have so much respect for him. He’s very down-to-earth and strong-willed,” Singh said during the interview.

The 41-year-old, who has played 3 Tests and 5 ODIs for India as an off-spinner, also shed light on Kohli’s attitude during team meetings. He said that Kohli always makes sure everyone in the meeting has their views heard.
“Whenever Virat comes, team meetings used to go on for 1, 1.5 hours. Virat is a good listener. I don’t know what people think about him,” he asserted.
Kohli and Sharma recently welcomed their first child into the family. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter on January 11 and named their daughter Vamika.
