The supporters celebrated Buffalo’s first touchdown by tossing snowballs on the pitch. Referees threatened that they will penalize the Bills if the fans continue to throw ice balls.
“#BillsMafia is in serous question after tonight. Don’t throw snowballs at players. Period. And yes, I know about the infamous laser pointer incident that a Chiefs fan caused, and I did not support that either,” a Twitter user said.
“#BillsMafia I love you, but you need to stop throwing snowballs. I know it’s fun, it’s festive, and I hate telling people not to have a good time. But many of you do not have the range you think you do. I got hit multiple times last year,” another one added.
“If you were throwing snowballs on the field during the game… re-evaluate your entire life. Your parents failed you. Go home and dial up your mother and let her know you’re both a bunch of god damn losers,” a third one tweeted.
The Bills (11-3) overcame a 29-21 deficit by scoring on their final two drives. Josh Allen tied the game with a 5-yard pass to Dawson Knox and the quarterback then leaped over the line for a 2-point conversion to tie the game at 29 with 9:02 remaining.
